Confidential Posting is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Gardner, MA

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and ensure the dental office runs efficiently.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare patients for dental work and treatment procedures

- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Take dental x-rays

- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Schedule patient appointments

- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment

**Requirements:**

- Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification

- X-Ray certification preferred

- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols

- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software

- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

- Familiarity with medical coding for billing purposes

- Ability to maintain detailed medical records accurately
